Jax is a very affectionate dog and loves nothing more than to lay on your feet. He will sell us all for a 10 second belly rubs... always!! He snores to let you know when he is fully relaxed

Jax loves to go for walks but the lead can be a bit of a trigger for him. He can be reactive to other dogs out and about and some of his worries may redirect. This is something his foster mum has been working with him on and he is taking redirection really well. With the amount of moves this poor boy has had it’s not surprising he can be a little untrusting of new environments.

Jax is not suitable to live with children or cats. He has previously lived with children and has been wonderful around them but after our assessment we feel he is best suited to an adult only home. He could live with another dog after a few meets or as an only dog.

The most important thing for Jax is that he finds an adopter who will help him continue to work through his reactivity or appreciate that he needs to avoid busy situations.

Jax is full of character and is such a loyal and loving dog. He makes friends really quick and once your pals, you are BEST pals for life. He is smarter than he lets on and needs a person with dog experience to be able to commit to him and not let him down again. It’s no surprise Jax may feel unsettled with so much change for him in his short life.
