2,500 second chances and counting.

We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs from kill shelters and desperate situations across Romania, Bosnia, Macedonia and the UK. Every dog we save is proof that giving up is never the answer.

Because our hearts are big.

We are a dog rescue in Worcestershire dedicated to bettering the lives of dogs and giving them the life and love they deserve.

High Hopes Dog Rescue was founded in 2018 to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome any abandoned, unwanted or damaged soul that needed our help. So far we have saved over 2,500 dogs.

The work we do does not even scratch the surface. There are so many lost souls needing help. With your support we can continue to make a difference to as many as we can.

Sponsor a Dog

If you can't adopt, you can still change everything.

Some of our dogs have been in rescue for years. Some are in kennels costing up to £23 a day. Some are going through months of rehabilitation, slowly learning that the human hand can be kind.

Your monthly sponsorship keeps them safe, fed, warm and cared for while they wait for their family, or for as long as they need us.

Caleb

Caleb is extremely lucky to be alive after his owner took him to be put to sleep and we intervened just in time. He's a big, friendly, goofy, and playful lad who loves people and absolutely deserves a second chance at happiness.

Luna (Chow)

Luna the Chow is a bundle of fluff and personality who makes us laugh every single day - we can't understand why she hasn't found her family! She's happy, exuberant, and just so funny, and she loves her human friends dearly.

Gus

Our giant, fluffy Gus has had the worst luck finding a forever home, coming back to us three times. He's a beautiful, excitable boy who is now in an experienced foster home getting the training and love he needs to find his family.

Penny

Penny was found in a Romanian public shelter with both front legs badly broken. After surgery, lengthy rehab and endless love, she has grown into an amazing, resilient, and super happy dog who loves giving you her paw over and over again.

Shandy

Our beautiful princess Shandy has been with us since November 2020. After a painfully slow journey she has grown into the most confident, wonderful girl - always first up for cuddles and snacks, and always chatting away to us!

Luna

Luna is a super special girl who has all of our volunteers wrapped around her paws. She's a happy dog who adores her High Hopes family almost as much as she loves belly rubs and cuddles, and we are working to help her find her forever family.

Love can't pay the bills.

High Hopes is in crisis and needs your help. High Hopes is a small rescue.

We give our hearts, bodies and souls to do all we can to help our furry friends find happiness and love.

It costs around £15,000 a month to cover everything we need: kennels, vet bills, insurance, fuel, dog food, and the everyday costs of keeping dogs safe and well.

We receive about £1,000 each month in regular donations. Our actual running costs are around 10 times that. We do not receive any corporate sponsorship or grants.

“If each Facebook follower sent us £1 per month, we would never have to ask for donations again."
