Gus needs to find a new home šŸ˜”šŸ’”

He is a large guardian breed who would benefit from a home with experience of these breeds. Gus has been home for 3 months and here is what his current family say about him:

ā€œGus is a real people person, he gets excited to meet new people and gets a lot of attention when we're out on walkies.

He loves his food too, so we feed him gradually throughout the day by scatter-feeding and weighing out his food for training.

He knows lots of commands now and he will sit, lay down, touch, catch, and paw. We've been doing some scentwork in the garden and that gives him a job to do and he loves doing that.

Gus walks well on the lead, he will heel with some encouragement and does love his sniffy time. He is reactive when out and about so he does stay on lead for safety, it's usually frustration because he wants to play. We regularly take him to a secure field nearby to work on recall and give him chance to have a good run through the long grass.

He's good with our teenage children, we haven't been around any younger ones though. He still learning how to play so some encouragement is needed, he can be a little mouthy and does give you a little nip when he wants your attention and likes to herd you around the house.

He loves a bum scratch and a cuddle, he's a really soft cuddly bear!
