Due to a change in circumstances, Caden is looking for a new family after over 2 years in his home.

Caden is a shy boy who needs patient and understanding paw-rents who understand this will be quite unsettling for Caden and he will need time to adjust. He is turning 5 years old shortly and is neutered.

Here is Caden in the words of his current family: “Caden is a comfort loving dog who has lots of love to give. He is looking for owners who have the time to give him endless cuddles. Caden will need reassurance as he is still fearful of new people and can get spooked with new noises. He has been socialised with other dogs through dog walkers but does react to bigger dogs, barking at them to tell them to stay away. Caden takes a while to get to know people, he is more comfortable with females but once he feels a male is trustworthy he will be confident around them. Caden likes to have a safe spot to go to and relax when he is not feeling safe so a crate is a must. He sleeps in a crate at night as well. Caden is toilet trained, he barks when he needs to use the toilet.

Caden enjoys walks that are in open spaces and not built up. As he is spooked by unknown noises walking around residential areas is really stressful for him but an open field gives him pure joy. He is much better off lead and will stay close by, this is the case for his walkers too. He doesn't need long walks and often a quick run around is enough for him. He has lived with another dog which has helped develop his confidence and he enjoys the company but would need a dog who is confident, not reactive and a similar size breed.

He would not be able to live with cats or small furries. He could live with older children who would be able to understand that he will need time and space to adapt to his environment and build trust.”
