Our lovely little sass queen Dottie was rescued from Romania while heavily pregnant. Her pups have all been adopted but Dottie is still learning to trust humans after spending months completely shut down – she is making wonderful progress.

Our lovely little sass queen Dottie (Dorothy) is currently in rehab with us. We spotted her with one of our rescuers in Romania heavily pregnant. She was due to be taken to the vet to be spayed whilst pregnant meaning her babies would all have died.
We couldn’t let this happen so far into her pregnancy so we begged to take her and her babies. Her pups have all been adopted but Dottie is currently too scared to be touched by humans. She’s come so far after spending the first 5 months with us completely shut down and wouldn’t even look at us.
Now she will follow her foster mummy around, she will come to us and occasionally take a treat. We will continue to work with Dottie at her pace until she is ready to find her family.
