Lil Nils came from Romania and is one of 5 siblings we have rehomed. 3 of them have gone home and are thriving! He demonstrates a cheerful temperament and enjoys strong social connections with other foster dogs, spending hours playing with them. He forms close bonds with caregivers, frequently returning for affection between play sessions.

Regarding his walking behaviour, Nils performs well on the lead, though he may walk in circles when feeling anxious. The rescue characterises him as inherently shy with unfamiliar people and describes him as potentially more fearful of taller individuals.

The ideal home would be a quiet adult-only home who has experience with rescue dogs. Nils requires a household with at least one other dog as a companion, preferably one tolerant of his favourite activity: hugging other dogs. He shows no size preference for canine companions.

Male, 18 months old, small mixed-breed, neutered. Cannot live with children. Requires a female owner. Must live with another dog. Lifetime rescue support available.

Adoption fee: £250.

Sponsor a dog

Most of our dogs are in paid kennels while they wait — a real cost, every single day. Monthly sponsorship from as little as £5/month helps cover those costs and means a dog has someone rooting for them. You’ll receive updates and photos for as long as they are with us.

More dogs waiting for the right person.
