Luna has our entire hearts. We cannot understand how such a fantastic dog has not had any interest. We hope someone will give her the chance to show what a good girl she is. She really is a fantastic girl with a few quirks and is looking for an experienced home as the only dog with a person she can give all of her love to.
Luna is 3.5 years old, female, spayed, medium mixed breed. She needs an adult only home and needs to be the only pet. Rescue back up is provided for life. Located in Worcestershire.
Luna has been in foster since she was 9 months old (after being adopted at 4 months old). She adores her human friends and we adore her just as much.
Luna is the sweetest and most lovely girl. She loves to cuddle and gives so much love to the people she trusts. She absolutely loves to play and has lots of energy. She would love long walks and has even tried her hand at canicross which she loved. At the end of the day she does enjoy some calm cuddles and chilling out and we can totally see her snuggled up on the sofa.
She travels beautifully in the car and likes it when you sing along with the music – she also LOVES dressing up!!! Anything that means she is being told she is a good girl, she loves to do.
Luna walks well on the lead but can react to other dogs whilst on lead. It’s a frustration for Luna and something her foster mum has been working on with her. She responds well when she is re-directed and is much better now. The girl loves to please! We have also been trying Luna with some simple trick training like “paw” and “roll over” – she is a super smart cookie and very obedient. Luna is dog friendly but doesn’t like to share her person and we feel she would be best as an only dog in the home.
She can be nervous of new people and visitors to the home need to be introduced slowly whilst she’s settling but once you have that bond with her, you are bonded for life.
Luna does have a prey drive and is not suitable to live with cats or small furries.
She is super special to us and she deserves the world.
Adoption fee: £250.

Most of our dogs are in paid kennels while they wait — a real cost, every single day. Monthly sponsorship from as little as £5/month helps cover those costs and means a dog has someone rooting for them. You’ll receive updates and photos for as long as they are with us.
