We are ready to start the search for a forever home for our most perfect, special angel, Dora.
Dora was rescued from an abandoned house in Romania where she had delivered 10 huge puppies. When she arrived with us, she was nervous, untrusting of people, and she couldn’t be touched. We have worked extremely hard with Dora, and she has rewarded us by showing us how amazing, kind, and wonderful she is. We are all completely in love with her and are looking for the absolute perfect 10* home for Dora.
Dora is a large dog at 50kg. We think she is a shepherd mix – we would say she has a large amount of Caucasian Shepherd in her, but we don’t really know for definite what breed she is. Dora is around 5 years old and has spent much of her life on a sheep farm in Romania where she guarded the sheep, wasn’t given enough to eat, and was basically ignored and neglected.
Dora likes to do things at her own pace and is now happily going for a walk, but doesn’t like getting in the van. She knows what she wants and will do her best to communicate that to her owner.
Dora is absolutely lovely with dogs that she knows – she’s kind and spends time grooming them. She is calm for the most part, but does have episodes of crazy sometimes! She likes to play with other dogs, but can be a bit boisterous at times.
Large guarding dog experience required. Patient owner needed who won’t rush her. Can live with another dog. No young children. Neutered, vaccinated, current on treatments. Multiple pre-adoption visits required.
Based in Worcestershire.
Adoption fee: £495.
