Gorgeous big boy Caleb has been stuck in kennels with no interest for 10 months.
His background involves three years of rescue involvement. Initially taken in when his original owner lost everything, Caleb was adopted alongside another dog but both were returned within weeks. Subsequently, his first owner reclaimed him, which seemed like a positive resolution.
However, at the start of 2025, a Welsh veterinary clinic contacted the rescue after scanning his microchip. The rescue declined euthanisation and retrieved him in February.
He was attacked by two other dogs a year ago and this had left him dog reactive, though he remained good with people. Caleb is quite a large boy and originally came from Portugal – he is a big friendly goofball who loves people. He previously struggled with extended alone time, enjoys play, and exhibits strong leash behaviour. The rescue haven’t seen any of the reactivity mentioned by his previous home towards other dogs out on a walk.
He needs a home experienced with bigger dogs, a pet-free home who will take him on for the rest of his life. He is neutered and fully vaccinated.
10 months is a lifetime for a dog to be cooped up in kennels. Caleb needs a home!!!
Adoption fee: £250.

Most of our dogs are in paid kennels while they wait — a real cost, every single day. Monthly sponsorship from as little as £5/month helps cover those costs and means a dog has someone rooting for them. You’ll receive updates and photos for as long as they are with us.
