Conditions Of Adoption

I understand that over the course of its life, a dog can develop illnesses of have an accident and that may lead to a substatial vet cost. I am prepared to accept any costs that may arise.

I accept that many of the dogs that High Hopes bring to the UK are ex-stray dogs or born as street dogs, unwanted and neglected before they came to the rescue. They are therefore likely to have minimal history of having lived in a home or with a family and may have been physically and emotionally abused in the past

I understand that it will take time and patience for a dog to settle into a new home. I am prepared to give the dog time to settle and understand I can contact High Hopes for help and support.

I agree to maintain a regular vaccination and worming programme in accordance with vetinary guidelines

All dogs are health checked in their country of origin. High Hopes are not financially responsible for any additional treatments a UK vet may deem as appropriate or additional to what the rescue has already provided.

I understand that any rescue dog may be frightened and nervous whilst they are settling. I agree that the dog will wear an ID tag and kept on a lead until fully settled.

I agree to address any behavioural problems that may arise and will consult appropriate trainers if required.

I understand that if I need to surrender the dog, the dog can only be returned to High Hopes Dog Rescue and not sold on, passed on or given away.
